Yes, an independent booking must be made directly with the venue to host your ceremony at Pier One Sydney Harbour, and venue hire fees apply. Because this is a premium private venue, you must secure the space directly with their events team in addition to booking your wedding celebrant service through us.

• Booking Requirements & Fees: Pier One offers dedicated ceremony packages (such as the Outdoor Pier Package and the Bridge Package). Standard wedding packages are typically designed for gatherings starting from 20 up to 50+ guests, with custom site fees, food, and beverage minimums depending on your selected space, date, and guest count. Contact their Wedding Sales team directly for a precise quote tailored to your guest numbers.

Please aim to arrive 15 minutes prior to your ceremony (along with your guests) to ensure you are in the right location and ready to go at your scheduled time.

• Private Car & Parking: You can drive directly to 11 Hickson Road, Dawes Point. Pier One Sydney Harbour offers convenient on-site valet parking for guests (fees apply). Alternatively, limited metered street parking is available along Hickson Road, though spaces fill up quickly during peak hours.
• Train: Take the train to Circular Quay Station or Wynyard Station. From Circular Quay, it is an incredibly scenic 15-minute walk along the water past The Rocks. From Wynyard Station, it is approximately a 20-minute walk down to Walsh Bay.
• Ferry / Public Transport: Catch a ferry to Circular Quay Wharf. From there, you can enjoy a flat, straightforward walk around the edge of the harbour toward Dawes Point to reach the pier entrance.

When booking a formal ceremony package directly through Pier One Sydney Harbour, they provide a guaranteed indoor alternative venue space or a sheltered marquee option on-site, ensuring your day remains seamless and dry regardless of the weather.

a) Reservation of Location and Payment of Associated Fees

I understand that it is our responsibility to ensure this location is available for our ceremony. I will make all necessary arrangements and pay any associated fees directly to the venue or relevant authority.

b) Guest Numbers

I understand that the Standard number of people is 20. This can be increased to 100+ people for an additional fee of $75 (click on Add Ons after making your booking).

c) Standard Duration of Booking is 30 Minutes

I understand that the total time for the standard booking is 30 minutes, which is plenty of time for a beautiful ceremony. This time cannot be extended on the day of the ceremony. However, if you would like to extend the duration of your booking, this can be done prior to the date of the ceremony for an additional fee of $150. (Click on Add Ons after making your booking.)

d) Confetti and Natural Materials

I understand that to maintain the cleanliness and integrity of the area, confetti of any sort, including natural materials such as flower petals, rice, glitter, or artificial equivalents, are strictly prohibited—unless prior written consent is received from the venue.

e) Public Liability Insurance

I understand that if Public Liability confirmation is required, there will be an additional fee of $50 to provide this.
