Hiring the capel starts from $750for the chapel for 1 hour plus a refundable bond of $500. This is in addition to the Marriage Ceremony fee starting at $600 (pricing as at July 2025)
"Our chapel accommodates 80 seated in our pews, and we can put extra 20 chairs in the chapel area if required to accommodate up to 100 people.
In terms of our fees, we charge a hiring fee of $ 750 (GST inclusive) per hour. In addition, a refundable bond of $ 500 (GST free) is also required. We offer an optional service of livestream & recording with a charge of $ 400 (GST inclusive).
For Weddings, we usually recommend you book for 2 hours, as the duration of booking should include the time you or your vendors access the chapel for set-up or decorate the chapel and the time to remove decorations after the ceremony. However, if you are having a small wedding with minimal decoration, you may book for 1 hour or 1.5 hours if that suits you."

Increase up to 100+ for additional $75
You can have up to 20 people (the 2 of you and 18 guests) at your ceremony. Excludes children under 6 years old.
For an additional fee of $75 this number can be increased to 100+ in total.
To add guests, after your initial booking, go to the Add-ons tab in your portal.
Getting there:
Please aim to arrive 15 minutes prior to your ceremony (along with your guests) to ensure you are in the right location and ready to go at your scheduled time.
There is plenty of street parking around - but on a beach day allow time to find one ;-)

Conditions of booking:
1. We understand it is our responsibility to ensure this location is available for our ceremony and we will make all arrangements and pay any associated fees.
2. We understand that if Simple Ceremonies is required to provide Public Liability documentation there will be an addition fee of $50 to cover this.
3. We understand that this booking is for 30 minutes only. If you require additional time please arrange prior to making the booking.
