Bookings are typically in blocks of two hours, and only one wedding is booked per two-hour block at any location. A fee applies to cover reserve maintenance and administration. The fee is generally the same for all Mosman Council outdoor locations, but you should check the latest pricing on the Mosman Council website. As a guide, fees for a two-hour hire are often in the $400 range (subject to change, always confirm with Council).

You can have up to 20 people (the 2 of you and 18 guests) at your ceremony. This excludes children under 6 years old. For an additional fee of $75, this number can be increased to 100+ people in total. To add guests after your initial booking, go to the Add-ons tab in your portal.

By Private Car (and Parking Situation)
The most convenient way is to drive directly to the reserve. Access is via Morella Road, Mosman. A large, paid car park is located right at the reserve. **Parking is ticketed** and can be expensive, particularly on weekends and public holidays, and spots fill up fast. Guests should arrive early, have the Park'nPay app downloaded, or bring a credit card/coins for the meters. Parking is not covered by NPWS passes, as it is a Mosman Council-operated car park.
By Taxi or Ride-Share
Instruct your driver to head to "Clifton Gardens Reserve, Mosman." The drop-off point is easily accessible right next to the car park entrance. This is often the best option for the bridal party to ensure a smooth, timely arrival without worrying about parking.
By Public Bus
Public transport links are available, though they often require a short walk. The 111 bus service operates between South Mosman Wharf and Chowder Bay (which is adjacent to Clifton Gardens). Alternatively, you can take a bus to Mosman Junction and then transfer to the 111 service or take a short taxi/ride-share from there. Check the Transport for NSW website for the most up-to-date timetables and journey planning.
Now it doesn't happen often, but when it does you will need to shelter under trees or bring umbrellas - how romantic.
As a popular public outdoor space, Clifton Gardens Reserve does not have any dedicated structures or covered areas suitable for a wedding ceremony. If you choose to proceed at the reserve in the event of light rain, you and your guests would need to rely on personal umbrellas.
a) Reservation of Location and Payment of Associated Fees
I understand that it is our responsibility to ensure this location is available for our ceremony. I will make all necessary arrangements and pay any associated fees directly to the venue or relevant authority.
b) Guest Numbers
I understand that the Standard number of people is 20. This can be increased to 100+ people for an additional fee of $75 (click on Add Ons after making your booking).
c) Standard Duration of Booking is 30 Minutes
I understand that the total time for the standard booking is 30 minutes, which is plenty of time for a beautiful ceremony. This time cannot be extended on the day of the ceremony. However, if you would like to extend the duration of your booking, this can be done prior to the date of the ceremony for an additional fee of $150. (Click on Add Ons after making your booking.)
d) Confetti and Natural Materials
I understand that to maintain the cleanliness and integrity of the area, confetti of any sort, including natural materials such as flower petals, rice, glitter, or artificial equivalents, are strictly prohibited—unless prior written consent is received from the venue.
e) Public Liability Insurance
I understand that if Public Liability confirmation is required, there will be an additional fee of $50 to provide this.
