Getting there:

Getting There: Glenbrook Lagoon

Please aim to arrive 15 minutes prior to your ceremony (along with your guests) to ensure you are in the right location and ready to go at your scheduled time. The ceremony area is accessed via a short walk from the main road/parking area.

How to get to Glenbrook Lagoon

  1. Private Car (Parking)
Glenbrook Lagoon is located on the corner of Glenbrook Road and Lagoon Drive, Glenbrook. Parking is available on the street around the lagoon area, particularly along Lagoon Drive. Note: Parking is limited and is general public parking, so it cannot be reserved. Please allow ample time for parking, especially on weekends, and consider carpooling.
  2. Train
The closest train station is Glenbrook Station, which is on the Blue Mountains Line. From the station, the lagoon is approximately a 15-20 minute walk (about 1.5 km). You can plan your journey using the NSW TrainLink trip planner.
  3. Taxi or Ride-Share Service
You can book a taxi or use a ride-share service to take you directly to the lagoon, using the address: Corner of Glenbrook Road and Lagoon Drive, Glenbrook NSW 2773. This is a convenient option, particularly if you have elderly guests or limited mobility issues, as it minimises the walk from a remote parking spot. Ensure you book a local taxi or pre-arrange a pick-up time, as availability can be limited in the Lower Blue Mountains.
Wet weather:

Wet Weather Options: Glenbrook Lagoon

Now it doesn't happen often, but when it does you will need to shelter under trees or bring umbrellas - how romantic.

As Glenbrook Lagoon is a public outdoor reserve, there are no dedicated covered structures or indoor spaces available for wet weather backup on-site.

Recommended Backup Plan:

  • Umbrellas: The most straightforward option is to embrace the rain with clear or matching umbrellas for a unique and memorable ceremony.
Conditions of booking:
