Please aim to arrive 15 minutes prior to your ceremony (along with your guests) to ensure you are in the right location and ready to go at your scheduled time.

Macarthur Park is centrally located at Menangle Road, Camden, NSW 2570.

Here are a few ways to get to your wedding venue:

1. Private Car (Recommended): The most direct and convenient way, especially for transporting the wedding party and any special decorations.
   • Parking: There is usually plenty of street parking available around the park, particularly on Menangle Road and surrounding streets. Always check local signage for any time limits or restrictions before leaving your vehicle.
   • Planning: Use a GPS or mapping app (like Google Maps or Waze) to navigate to "Macarthur Park, Camden."
2. Taxi or Ride-Share: A stress-free option, especially if you plan to celebrate afterwards.
   • Planning: Book your ride in advance, specifying the address (Menangle Road, Camden) and one of the main entrances as your drop-off point.
3. Public Bus: For guests coming from nearby suburbs or transport hubs like Macarthur Station, public buses service the Camden area.
   • Planning: Check the Transport for NSW trip planner for the most current route and timetable (e.g., bus services along Argyle Street or Menangle Road), looking for stops close to the park's main entrances.

Now it doesn't happen often, but when it does you will need to shelter under trees or bring umbrellas - how romantic.

• On-Site Shelter: The park features a historic Memorial Shelter (sometimes referred to as a gazebo) which may offer a small, picturesque option for shelter from light rain. However, this is a public facility and cannot be formally booked or guaranteed for exclusive use, especially if it is raining.
• Private Marquee/Gazebo: If you have formally booked the park through Camden Council for a larger ceremony, you may be allowed to erect a temporary marquee or gazebo, provided you have council approval and adhere to all requirements (including safety and removal). Always confirm this with the council during your booking process.

a) Public Park Acknowledgment

I understand that this venue is a public park and that no site fee has been charged for its use by you (the provider).

b) Guest Capacity

I understand the Standard maximum number of people is 20. I can increase this to a maximum of 60 people for an extra $75 (I will select Add Ons after booking).

I understand that if I plan to have more than 60 people, it is my responsibility to make the required booking with the park authority and pay any associated site fees directly to them.

c) Booking Duration

I understand the Standard booking time is 30 minutes, which is plenty of time for a beautiful ceremony. I acknowledge that this duration cannot be extended on the day of the ceremony.

If I wish to extend the time, I understand I must arrange this prior to the ceremony date for an additional $150 for an additional 30 minutes (I will select Add Ons after booking).

d) Confetti and Prohibited Materials

I understand that confetti of any sort, including natural materials such as flower petals, rice, glitter, or artificial equivalents, are strictly prohibited.

e) Public Liability Insurance

I understand that an additional fee of $50 will apply if Public Liability confirmation is required for bookings with more than 60 people.
