To hold your marriage celebrant ceremony at Q Station Manly, you must make a formal booking with the venue, as it operates as a fully integrated hotel and events facility within a National Park. Simple Ceremonies provides the wedding celebrant service, but the location booking and any associated venue fees are separate and required to secure your chosen site.
Q Station offers various wedding packages and ceremony locations, which will have associated fees depending on the space, duration, and guest numbers. These fees contribute to the maintenance of the heritage-listed site and the provision of services like a dedicated Wedding Coordinator, setup, and wet weather options.
It is crucial to contact the Q Station Wedding Coordinator directly to discuss their specific package requirements, pricing (minimum wedding prices range from $150–$250 per person for catering/reception but ceremony-only fees will vary), capacity limits (up to 225 people for large events, but smaller packages are available), and terms and conditions for your desired date and location within the venue grounds.

You can have up to 20 people (the 2 of you and 18 guests) at your ceremony. This excludes children under 6 years old. For an additional fee of $75, this number can be increased to 100+ people in total. To add guests after your initial booking, go to the Add-ons tab in your portal.
I understand that, it is my responsibility to make the required booking with the park authority and pay any associated site fees directly to them.
Please aim to arrive 15 minutes prior to your ceremony (along with your guests) to ensure you are in the right location and ready to go at your scheduled time. REMEMBER. Only shuttle buses operate from the front gate so you will need to allow plenty of time to ensure you and your guests can be transfered in.
Private Car/Taxi/Rideshare (Parking Included):
Q Station is approximately a 5-minute drive from Manly and 30 minutes from the Sydney CBD. Drive to 1 North Head Scenic Drive, Manly. Free parking is available for all guests at the main entrance/reception area. Important Note: For safety and heritage reasons, personal vehicles are NOT permitted on the main property grounds beyond the car park. Once you have parked, a complimentary Q Station shuttle bus runs 24/7 to transport you and your guests down to the various event spaces (like the Wharf Precinct) and accommodation areas. Allow extra time to park and take the shuttle.
Public Bus:
The 161 bus route operates between Manly and North Head and has a stop near the Q Station entrance. This is a good option if you are travelling from Manly Wharf or the local area.
Ferry/Fast Ferry to Manly:
Take a Sydney Ferry or Fast Ferry from Circular Quay to Manly Wharf. From Manly Wharf, you can then take a taxi, rideshare, or the public 161 bus to Q Station. Q Station also offers a complimentary shuttle service to and from Manly Wharf between 9 am and 9 pm—check their website for the most up-to-date schedule and pick-up location opposite the wharf.
Now it doesn't happen often, but when it does you will need to shelter under trees or bring umbrellas - how romantic. If you are having an outdoor ceremony at this wedding venue, Q Station is well-equipped to manage unpredicted rain.
If you book one of the specific wedding packages through Q Station, they offer a complimentary indoor venue (such as The Glasshouse, The Rosella Room, or another appropriate space) in case of wet or windy weather.
Discuss the specific wet weather option included with your booking directly with the Q Station Wedding Coordinator when securing your ceremony location.
a) Reservation of Location and Payment of Associated Fees
I understand that it is our responsibility to ensure this location is available for our ceremony. I will make all necessary arrangements and pay any associated fees directly to the venue or relevant authority.
b) Guest Numbers
I understand that the Standard number of people is 20. This can be increased to 100+ people for an additional fee of $75 (click on Add Ons after making your booking).
c) Standard Duration of Booking is 30 Minutes
I understand that the total time for the standard booking is 30 minutes, which is plenty of time for a beautiful ceremony. This time cannot be extended on the day of the ceremony. However, if you would like to extend the duration of your booking, this can be done prior to the date of the ceremony for an additional fee of $150. (Click on Add Ons after making your booking.)
d) Confetti and Natural Materials
I understand that to maintain the cleanliness and integrity of the area, confetti of any sort, including natural materials such as flower petals, rice, glitter, or artificial equivalents, are strictly prohibited—unless prior written consent is received from the venue.
e) Public Liability Insurance
I understand that if Public Liability confirmation is required, there will be an additional fee of $50 to provide this.
